This fan remake is based on the classic Playstation 1 game Ape Escape, a 3D platformer where the player traverses several different environments to capture monkeys who have gone back in time and are causing trouble everywhere.
This was created as a challenge to see how an Ape Escape would look like if it was created for today's consoles like the Playstation 5.
How to Play
Catch all the wild Monkeys and return to the base.
Controls
Keyboard & Mouse
Movement: W,A,S,D
Jump: Space Bar
Double Jump: Space Bar again (after the first Jump)
Crawl: Left Shift
Stun Club Swing: Left Mouse Button
Time Net Capture: Right Mouse Button
Controller
Movement: Left Thumbstick
Jump: Right Trigger / Right Shoulder
Double Jump: Right Trigger / Right Shoulder again (after the first Jump)
Crawl: Left Thumbstick Press
Equip Stun Club: Y Button

Finally got around to playing this *Cant stream it..too short*
Loved the Nostalgia of it. Makes me sad that Sony will never reboot this I.P.
Very faithful to the OG. Controls were smooth. Loved the double jump.

I love how the game looks, But when i get close to a monkey to capture it the game crashes. Also, I can't seem to go into the Options menu in the main menu.
*Before I posted this comment i decided to play with the oculus program running*
I have a first gen Rift connected to my PC and when Ape Escape would launch the Oculus program would as well. I would close the Oculus program because i don't want to play in VR and that is what I think causes the game to crash upon coming in contact with a monkey. Game is running smooth with it open. Sadly i still do not have a way to go into options :). Love the game!
I really hope they pick you to make the game for ps5 or even as a PC port because you have talent!
